Our Story
Art Rickshaw started in 2016 in a beautiful old building on Hindustan Park, Kolkata — a café-gallery-studio where art wasn't something to look at behind glass, but something to make, share, and take home.
Co-founded by a passionate mother-daughter duo, we've grown into Kolkata's premier creative space. Now we're bringing that spirit to London. Same philosophy: no gatekeeping, no prerequisites. Just art, community, and joy.

Absolutely not. Every session starts from scratch and our artists guide you the entire way.
Everything: art materials, aprons, canvases/supplies, instruction from a professional artist, and complimentary tea and coffee.
Yes! BYOB is welcome at most sessions. For private events, we can arrange prosecco and wine packages.
Pop-up sessions take 8–20 people. For corporates, we handle up to 100 at your venue. Minimum group size is 8.
Of course! Paintings and resin pieces go home same day. Pottery needs firing — about 2 weeks. We arrange collection or delivery.
We pop up across London — Hackney, Peckham, Brixton, Shoreditch, Dalston, Camden, Bermondsey and Battersea. We also come to you.
We run kids' sessions and birthday parties for ages 5+. Public evening sessions are for adults (16+). Message us for family options.
